Welcome to Vote Kindopp for City Council!
My name is Christine Kindopp, and I am excited to run for Fort
McMurray City Council. As a longtime resident of 25 years, a dedicated
community advocate, and an active board member for both the
Friendship Center and the Diversity and Inclusion committee, I am
committed to making our city a better place for all.
With a strong background in leadership and problem-solving, I
understand the challenges our community faces and the importance of
working together to create real, lasting change.
My priorities include:
- Strengthening community engagement and communication
- Advocating for responsible economic development
- Supporting local businesses and job growth
- Enhancing public safety and infrastructure
- Promoting inclusivity and cultural diversity
- Working with indigenous stakeholders in the region to provide cultural services to members residing in the community of Fort McMurray
- Consulting with indigenous stakeholders in the region to ensure their voice is heard in the community
- Building on strengthening Truth & Reconciliation efforts with indigenous communities and people in the region
